Took a lovely sunset cruise with my wife and hoagie dinner.....water temp nearly 85 deg. Tried deeper water to start with jig and swim baits and got nothing. Moved to top water as sun went down and was disappointed. Ended up with two on plastics in 3-6 feet of water with grass below. Did not see anyone doing much better. I tried spinner bait deep as it was windy upon arrivals...nothing with that either.
We did enjoy a lovely sunset.
After working all day Sat and knowing I had to work Sunday, at least it felt like a weekend...kind of....and my hand did smell from Bass!!!!

Congrats on the Bass! It's getting rough out there right now with all of the heat and massive milfoil beds that popped up on the local lakes. I had about the same luck at Hopewell this weekend; I managed 3 but that's about it. But you caught a few fish, spent some quality time with the Wife and saw an awesome sunset.....that's what it's all about.
