went out from 3-7 pm. water was 63ish, caught 2 perch, a sunny, several bass (9-12 inches) and on one particular cast down near the damn, my buddy catches a 10" bass and starts reeling it in. gets it 2 feet from the boat and the biggest friggin' muskie we have ever seen partially swallows the bass! i say partially because the bass was still on my buddies line, as was the musky. so for 5 minutes he lets the muskie do what it wants and eventually the bass gets spit out, only to be swallowed again! this time the bass is gone, and the musky is hooked. we don't have a net and I'm not grabbing the 36+ inch toothy monster. after semi-fighting the fish for a total of 10 minutes, it bit through the 6lb mono, and swam off. it was 3 feet if it was an inch, and my buddy says it was heavy, 25 lbs maybe. i think thats a stretch but it was thick. hell of a day!
