Kearcher Creek Lake

If your do not know this is a small electric lake in Hamburg, very pretty but small, never crowded and no sailboats. Anyway the lake is a great place to take your kids. You should have a boat. I was out on 7-21 and caught over 20 bass... I know, hold on, this is a Big Bass Lake, which according to the Fish Comm means there are NO bass over 15" in it... and in Kearscher Creek that is true, so they are smallish but lots of them. I had a few that went close to 14 but no keepers. Take the kids, use rubber worms and fish the outside of the weeds.

I like to get out very early; the website say the park opens at 8:00 AM; can you fish before that or is that when your allowed in the park to launch a boat?

I believe the park itself has the hours but the lake is open all the time... Last week I was there before sunup and there was already one boat on the water fishing for muskies.
