My father and I hit struble this morning as well. 6-930. No luck at all. Got one aggressive little perch on a crank bait, but no bass to be found. This was our 3rd visit to Struble over 2 seasons and we have yet to have any luck there.

I didnt have much better success at Hopewell either. I fished from 6 am - 11:30 am and only caught three. The largest was 14"; the other two were the typical Hopewell 10" bass : ( The water was very off-colored there as well. Typically Hopewell doesnt get muddy; but it sure did with last weeks rain. Sorry to hear of your poor luck at Struble; I think that lake is real stubborn at times. I can have one good day down there and the next 5 trips are "less-than-good".

Worst part of Struble is all the breaching fish.....carp? They just taunt you!

Yeah, pretty sure its carp doing all the jumping which makes the lake look really active. One of my goals this season is to figure out struble and find the bass in that lake.

Stopped by Struble on Sat eve, was surprised at the quanity of boats on the lake, nice turnout for first day of bass season. Also on the left side of lake, there were about 12+ people wading in the water, all throwing large plastic senko style worms. Everyone had a fish basket or cooler next to them. ...nuff said.
