Anyone know if there are ever any tournaments around for us weekend anglers. I own a 12' semi-v without a livewell so it seems like I couldnt participate in any of the tourneys. But I would love to at least give it a shot and see what I got! It seems like unless I am willing to buy a better boat; at least one with a livewell I am not eligible for any of the local tournaments.

If you have room in the boat, get yourself a big cooler and put a bilge pump with aerator bar in it. Change out some of the water every so often with a bucket. As long as the water temps are cool, you shouldn't have a problem keeping fish alive.

You could always join a club and fish as a non-boater.
