What an evening. Lost a St Croix spinning rod with a Tica reel over the side, my trolling motor receptical overheated and melted and the strap on my trailer winch broke. Those and my trolling motor batteries are on their last leg. I was lucky to get back to the ramp after 4 hours. I did catch 7 fish though so it wasn't a wasted trip. All fish caught on plastic worms out of the grass in the park office cove. None real big, but two would have kept.

TomM - if you have a good idea of where you lost the rod & reel you may want to drag the bottom with one of those lure retrievers - long, heavy line with big hooks on the end. A friend of mine was able to get his Quantum combo back this way.
Maybe we should set up a lost and found post on this site.

Yup, I know where it is. I'll be going back to try to get it. I'll use one of those metal strings with all the hooks open and drag that along the bottom. Tom
