Is anyone headed out this weekend? I hear that all of the ice has melted and the crappies are starting to show up.

The main lake is open but tha back part of the lake has ice on it from the bridge out to the rock point, there is some open water at the bridge but not a whole lot. bassman most people fish from the rocks around the bridges at the Octoraro Reservoir.

They are catching crappies in the area near the boat ramp. But don't be afraid to try the route 472 area you might be surprised.
