Fished from about 2-6:30PM..water temp varied from mid 50's to barely 50 near dam. Water cloudy/murky.
Some huge sunfish around...my son caught one on a deep crank and one on a jig N pig. I caught a LGmouth that was a bit strange looking.
Probably 15" but had red eyes and the side lines were just big blotches. He was very cold and probably just came up from the deep cold. I didn't lip him since he had a jerkbait in his mouth, but after I let him go I wish I had taken a picture.
I do remember somebody saying they caught some bass they thought were Spotted Bass in the area and I don't think this was, but he was strange looking.

Are the buoys in yet? How was the water level?
Thanks!

The water level wasn't too bad. A little low, they redid the whole dock over on the other side. Comes straight out now.
There isn't any buoy's in there. If you mean the ones they usually put up in the back, nothing there...
No Outhouse yet either.....and I love my coffee.

That sounds a bit like a rock bass.

Yeah, I caught one last year with my son. We weren't sure what kind it was though. But red eyes and non typipical markings. Not quite sure what kind it was. we thought it got transplanted from "TMI". Had no camera either that day. Carry it all the time now. "Cause you just do not know.
