No posts here since mid August. Guess the fishing hasn't been too good. Anybody happen to know the temps. Considering heading out there tomorrow.

Night time is the only time to fish, seems they start to turn on when the sun goes down and the heat of the day is gone. Neighbor and I launch around 6pm this time of year and fish till around 2am (being retired is great) Took alot of smallies at the dam on black 4" senkos in the dark and quite a few on 6" zoom worms in worm color at the stumps as the light of day was fading. Topwater was super slow. If your night fishing take a light jacket as it gets a little chilly in the late hours. Fishing the dropoffs in deeper channels along the shore pays off, work your bait slow from shallow to deep. Dont forget to report any violations to 911 Tight lines to all.

I finally hit the lake around 730 this morning, and the fishing was slow. Got three dinks on Senko's and that was all for the whole day. Temps were right around 65.

I did well today. Try a soft plastic lighter than a Senko and SHAZAM!!!
