The board has been kinda slow for the past few weeks. I don't know about anyone else, but I can't wait for this weather to break so we can get out and start fishing again. Trout season is just around the corner, and this is going to be the year that I catch another muskie. I joined Muskies Inc., and have learned quite a bit over the winter. Bring on the spring!!!

Your right jigger, that is the Susky flats. Fish was caught in April in about six feet of water on a chartreuse Bass Assassin. We had fish all day, and I mean all day, from about 6am until I got hooked up at around 4pm. I was getting tired and had sat down in the back of the boat and was just hopping my bait off the bottom as we drifted with the current. When the bait stopped I thought I was snagged at first, the fish just laid there. i put a little pressure on her and she took off. We had to back the boat after her, I couldn't turn her with the 12lb test line and the bass rig I hooked her on. Fought her for probably 45 minutes until I got her boat side and netted her. She bent the net when we lifted her, weighed in at 38 1/2 lbs. Only fish I caught all day. Glad to say that she was released and swam away quickly.
