Sorry for the late response, been extremely busy the last few weeks in the store, and have not had time to set things up. We are now taking sign ups, as of today. The Tx runs from March 1st to April 30th. Entrance fee is same as last year, $5.00 for crappie alone and add $5.00 for the bluegill perch. As always this is a 100% payback Tx. This year we a we are working on getting additional prizes to give out to the winners, in addition to the cash. I will let you know when we finalize them. The Tx is open to anyone. Bottom line is the largest single crappie wins. Fish must be live or fresh caught, (no frozen fish ) to qualify. We pay out to top 4 fish weighed in. You can weigh in any fish caught from any where in Pa. You can weigh in a different fish in every day if you wish, but you can only hold one place, in each catagory, in the Tx . Winner is determined by weight, ties determined by 1st fish weighed in. Gordon's will also be donating a St Croix rod and Shimano reel combo (valued at over $100.00) to the 1st place winner. The Perch / Bluegill part of the Tx pays out 50/50 of procedes taken in to the largest bluegill and the largest perch. Stop in and join the fun. The more people who sign up the larger the payout is.

Thanks for the update. I was in your store on Sun and did not see the TX sign, so I assumed you were not ready to start. I will be signing up this weekend!

doccrappie, Gordon's Sports Supply is running the crappie tx, that's where you have to go to sign up and weigh your fish.

Check the front page of our web site for current standings on our crappie tournament. Still have time to sign up, as the best fishing is still to come as the water warms more. WWW.GORDONSSPORTSSUPPLY.COM
