Observations/Notes
The day started off very slow, we fished up in the area with all the stumps and only managed a few fish. So we moved towards the dam around 9 am and started catching fish sparingly. Eventually around 11 am the fish kicked on and we started catching plenty of sunfish off of rocks in around 8 foot of water. We caught lots of small bass the biggest bass was probably 13 inches. I did catch one really nice yellow perch by the dam. We took the dogs out today both of them with the cool weather they were able to stay out all day. Two cool things happened with them one was the red colored dog pebbles drove the boat when she decided to lay down on the trolling motor power. Also, the apricot dog Bambi hooked a fish. I had the pole on the floor of the boat and she was lying right by it when the fish hit the pole she jumped up and knocked the pole back setting the hook. Anyway a great day out, the cold front messed things up a bit but it was overall productive. All fish were released to fight another day and they were kissed by the dogs to have a story for the other fish.
