Fished Scotts this morning. By the quantity of fishermen there, compared to weeks past, I'd say they did stock. Didn't see any one catch any trout, but the lake seems to be at its best in the early morning for trout. Most of the guys fish off the dam in the deeper water. I was there late morning and didn't catch any trout, but caught a bunch of huge bluegiils. I could barely get my hand around them to take off the hook. Lot of fun on an ultralite rod!

Went there today and caught 6 between my partner and I and missed about 4 took me 4 hours before i caught them. Then the six came in a 20 min span and then stopped. Caught them on gold castmasters and watermellon and rainbow kastmasters. They were also following the silver castmasters. Should be great this weekend. If you go I recomend bringing a fly rod along also seems like the fish are very active on top water. Saw a guy on the dam breast catch a pickerel and 4 trout be careful on the rocks though they are slippery and i saw a snake that looked like a copper head but cant verify because it went back into the hole right away Regards, jeff

I went trout fishing today, at Scotts Run Lake in French Creek State Park. I caught 7 trout. I kept 3 to eat. I worked hard for the 7 though. I probally made a thousand cast and walked around the Lake twice. The trout were all nice sized 9-14 inches. I caught 6 on wax worm and 1 on a kast master lure. Beautiful day out though. It was 68 degrees. The water was cold though a person in a boat told us the temp was around 55. Going to Marsh Creek on Monday hopefully will get a bunch then.
