Does anyone have any clue as to what the water temp is there roughly? I have a tourney there w/my club this Sunday, and I am afraid I am not gonna be able to get down there to pre-fish. If I can it won't be till late sat morn/afternoon. I heard that it gets muddy pretty easily there. I was also told to hit the mouths of the coves in the morning, and deep on the points once the sun gets up and going. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. If any of y'all get out this way to fish and have any questions, please do not be afraid to ask. I love to help my fellow fishing addicts any chance I can. Good luck and tight lines to all!

Steveo, you got good information. Throw some tubes (green punkin) and keep a crank bait handy when you go deep. By the way where is "out this way" ? Let us know how the tourney went.

i think he means 'out this way' as in out towards octoraro, which is 'out that way' from me at least lol. and in general being that Gordons, and marsh creek are all the way over here and most guys are fishing around here more than out at Octoraro. Let us know how you make out steveo

Steveo, I live towards Lancaster, which is out this way, depending on which way you are headed. Sometime we have to exchange notes on the river. I fish the Susky quite a bit. I like Goldsboro. This is starting to sound like a Abbott & Costello ssssssshtick. Ok, raise your hands if you know who A & C are.

LOL you guys are funny. I fish the river a lot, but not as much as I would like. I will always help in anyway I can, aslong as we are not in the same tourney. That's not fair now.

Ok, raise your hands if you know who A & C are. Hand raised. I once had a teacher who gave us a test on the A&C baseball team spoof. We listened to the skit and had to answer which player was playing what position. I don't think anyone got them all, I know I didn't. Tom

I run the water treatment plant there. 25.8 degrees Celsius today. I don't have a calculator right here. but it is 25.8 x 1.8 + 32 to convert to degrees Fahrenheit.

Well, didnt do as well as hoped. One guy brought in a 5 fish bag and got 2nd. The winner had 3 fish weighing almost 11 lbs. Caught them near the dam cove. near the wall in 20 feet of water carolina rigging a sweet beaver. Just thought I would let yall know!-Steve

It was just a club tourny. We had a total of 5, count 'em, 5 boats. I only counted maybe 5 others. Very nice lake. Doesn't seem to get too much pressure. Am I wrong? Atleast compared to say marsh creek.
