So, am I to take it that no one fishes here? I heard it is mostly pleasure lake (canoes/kayaks). Any truth to this? Is there little to no pressure there?

Sorry no ones answering! I havent fished this lake at all in the past couple years, so I cant offer any advice. I don't hear anyone talking about fishing there other than for crappies in the spring time.

It's a very good lake for crappie, largemouth bass, catfish & carp. Bass and crappie fishing is pretty good during the spring and early summer but gets tough after about the middle of July and then picks up again in the fall but not as good as in the spring. I haven't fished there in 3 or 4 years but used to fish it a lot. It's open to boating from April 1 Thur Oct. 31, electric power only. If you have any more ? about the lake feel free to ask.

we fished there one day last week. 8 hrs on the water, 2 LM about 13" each. Weather was clear, sunny and hot. Tough day. It was my 1st time out there which could account for the slow fishing. Capt. Jim is a good resource.
