Heard there were catfish in Hopewell lake. Can anyone confirm. If so what species?
Going Saturday and want to be prepared.

I caught the biggest bullhead in Pa back in 2001 out of there.... in February on a shiner under a tip-up LOL. It was around a 15" "monster" sadly the PFBC has purged the older lists to make room for more recent years  . The only one we ever caught out of there - granted we didn't exactly target them. I've seen small "bait balls" of bullhead fry over the years while wading for bass in June. Don't think the PFBC ever stocked it with channels... can't verify PFBC stocking info pg. is down. |

No channels to speak of, but there are a small number of bullheads in there. What bullheads are left are big too
