Anyone been to the lake lately? What's the water level? Drawn down?
Thanks

Was out on the 2nd...day started off well then winds picked up. Water still high. Park boat dock/pier next to ramp is underwater by a foot or so to give you and idea of how high it is. Fishing wise...lots of undersized perch and a few crappies out of the deep. Good to be out.

FYI....got this e-mail the other day about Marsh >
We have been notified that the Marsh Creek dam valve (42 inch diameter) will be opening on Thursday, January 7th by 9am and closing by 3pm on Friday. The opening of this valve creates high and dirty water in the area of Dorlan Mill Road and downstream through the delayed harvest area on the East Branch of Brandywine Creek.

Stupid question ? Isn't there an overflow/emergency spillway that prevents the lake from becoming dangerously full ? Not sure why the "need" to open the valve.

did a driveby yesterday. level down significantly. haven’t been by for couple weeks but last visit had boat pylons/railing at lindel totally underwater. totally visible now with water a foot or more back from them. maybe drawdown was more than the one foot they said on FB? may get out to see if chalfont is open.

Out yesterday. Definitely down more than a foot from a week ago...i'd say 2-3. Barely could get my boat off trailer at Lyndell ramp.
