Anyone have experience with walleye on the Susquehanna? Fish the lower section of long level/lake Clarke. Not much structure in that deeper section. Not much on the sonar either. Better to target the upper section? I haven’t explored it yet but lots of docks, couple islands and rocks.

No personal experience, but from what I've heard, Falmouth is a popular walleye spot. Risky boating with a prop boat though. More so now as low as the river is. I think they catch them from the shore also.

Been quite a few years but we caught some out of Falmouth during summer. We took my buddies glass boat(picking our way slowly) started out fishing among the "rocks", some smallies, a real nice crappie but mostly channels. I think the cats were in spawn mode but they sure tore up our hellgrammites. Eventually we ended up across the river in the "pool" above the York Haven Plant. Got a bunch of eyes there ranged from 12"- 20"
Also used to get them over at Brunners Island in fall/winter. We caught them anywhere from the "canal" down the "gut" road and even down farther where that good sized creek feeds in. We mostly waded but a few times I put in my small jon boat with electric motor. I stayed real close to where we "launched" from and we never were out during high water(wading or with the boat). Again no monsters pretty similar size range.
I guess the warm water area is off limits now don't know if you can still fish along the "gut" rd. or not.
