Thinking of heading down for some early AM wet wading. Just wondering what wading would be like after last years draw down. Did the grass + weeds that grew on the exposed shore die off or is it a tangled mess. I know they were spraying weedkiller to kill the submerged weeds in the lake are they still doing that or are the weeds back ? Any beaver felled trees left(or new ones) ?

There are a lot of lily pads near the pier and boat ramp in the usual areas. There is certainly enough open water to be accessed if wading in to fish though. The deeper weeds are just recently starting to thicken up in the usual off shore area, and are a few feet from topping out yet. There are no new felled trees or laydowns that I have noticed. Surface water temp is 87°, and going early AM will give you a better chance for sure, as it slows down mid day.

OK thanks... I'm still undecided.
