Video (music) Copyright, not allowed. Deleted.
The upper end of the lake was busy on a rainy 11 am morning. Picknic, tailgating and other outdoor activities.
There were 2 kayaks on the water. One guy fishing from the bank. Mostly posted because of the Coronavirus. Didnt think i would find people at the lake.
Anyway, sorry for the deleted video. Now i know to turn off the car radio when shooting a video.

OK ... I just read a post(link) from Yellowdog in the Marsh Creek thread that stated that "day use areas" would be closed, so I'm guessing that road would be closed. Still OK to walk around on the trail I guess, but with my resp. problems that can be a chore.

Took the boat to hope yesterday. The cold wind was brutal. Cant believe how many people walking & congregating in groups. Talking & socializing. Like were not in a pandemic situation. I avoid people at all costs. i didn't even invite anyone out in my boat. Water was 56 on the surface . Caught some fish.

Hopewell lake has the gate to the pool area closed. No boats out on lake. Very little activity in the rain.
Scotts Run Lake had 1 teenager fishing on the dam breast. Adult heading towards him with no rod, but a net hanging over his shoulder.
A few parked cars watching.

Seen a few and accidentally caught 1 or 2 over the years. I don't think there are too many in there though. Living here in Berks if I was a carp guy Hopewell would be pretty far down on my "hot spot" list.
Not sure what it's like anymore but prior to the DNRC's weedkiller program it was a pretty weedy lake. Beds of "coontail" basically surrounded the shoreline all around the lake.
