Muskies Inc. Chapter 50 will be hosting their annual musky school at Marsh Creek on June 7th. Basic information is in the attachment below but if you have questions, feel free to respond in the thread or reach out to Jeff or the club via Facebook. We ask for a $150 donation per person. All proceeds go right back to stocking more muskies in Marsh Creek and other SE PA waters. There is a fly school as well on the same day. Again, any questions feel free to reach out via FB, email, or in this thread. 2020 Muskie Gear School Flyer.pdf (879.51 KB)

Yes, same schedule, you're just put in a boat with a fly fisherman. We need some advanced notice so we can line up fly fishermen in our club, there are fewer of them than "gear guys." We also ask an extra $50 for the donation, but everything else is the same...date, location, schedule, etc. We still promote the catch and release practices, what types of structure to look for, figure 8s, etc.

Yes, suggested $200 donation for fly, $150 for gear.
It would be in a boat, that's among the reason we ask a little more because it's not safe to have more than 2 fly guys in a boat, where as we can get more gear guys in a boat safely, so it's a little easier to find enough club members to help with this.
We start with an info session, then spend about 5 hours on the water in a club member's boat, then wrap up with lunch and seeing how everyone did. Two years ago we had a "student" get a 47". We can't make promises (these are muskie we're talking about), but we have managed to find some success too.

Always an up-charge for fly guy. dude save your money and read up on the fish, you don't need to drop this type of money to just cast nonstop.
