dumb question because i'm intrigued. How does a foot control transom mount motor work? Does the boat have to drive backwards(you face stern)? I have a hand control on my 10' jonny and it is a pain in the arse to keep having to free a hand to keep the boat positioned. Foot control sounds cool just not sure how practical?
Grandaddy...to answer your question....first, sorry for the delay. Haven't checked the website lately. The motor mounts on the rear of the boat. The foot pedal controls the forward, reverse, speed and direction. Call Buddy at 610-470-0427 for more information.

Ok thanks for the response. I will try to look up some videos of it in use. Sounds to me like you will have to face the back of the boat while operating the foot control? If you could face forward it might be a useful idea.
