Cvlle kids rodeo just passed this wknd. Lots of rainbow browns and a few palaminos left over I'm pretty sure. Fish from business 30 bridge upstream to water falls have fun. Fish can survive in there. Last year I caught a very fiesty 16in rainbow in the falls. That was 1 week before the rodeo I'm guessing it was a hold over not a wash down trout.

Had some time to kill so I decided to see what was going on. Water was high back current was strong so I used a bobber 2ft lead white trout magnet. Bobber helped keep jig down. Only caught could red eyes and small smallmouth but did see a very nice rainbow jump all the way out of the water. I think the slack from the back current and me twitching the bobber caused my line jiggle tiny leaf on the surface. Making it look like a insect hence rainbow attacked. Fly fisherman might could have some fun in this hole. It's definitely hard to fish cuz of back current and water is definitely oxygenated enough to hold trout over the summer

From business 30 travel north on rt 82. The very 1st left you can make turn there. I don't know the name of the road but it takes you to Regency apts. Soon as you cross the railroad tracks turn left down the tracks. Some people park right nxt to falls. If you have waders best move is walk along the tracks until you get to the big septa railroad bridge and enter the water there. Btw it's normally a trout or 2 under that bridge also. After you finish there wade upstream to the falls. Btw I saw some pretty nice rainbows get off on inexperienced fisherman this past spring

I saw a guy heading for the creek ystrdy. Rod and tackle box in hand. This time of year I guess he targeting trout. Smallmouth hard to catch this time of year and who would willingly fish for fallfish?

Most of my bigger fish come in winter. Watch a few YouTube vids.

Had more time to kill so I stopped in the creek. Definitely some trout still in there. I was throwing a 1/32 roadrunner head with a tiny twister body and missed 2 good thumps. I know from sight fishing trout they will inhale and exhale a jig before you can set the hook. Had it happen many times sight fishing. Trout are either rodeo hold over or Hibernia wash down from the flash floods recently.
