The water level was so low today I could not launch on the park side and could only launch from the kayak area. Some smaller flat bottom boats were able to use the main launch. Docks are not in. Water was 52 at the launch and 55 near Conestoga road. I have a 16.5ft. v hull. Water level is down 4-6 ft.

FYI. Found this on the PFBC site: The water level at Marsh Creek Reservoir has been drawn down about 2 feet below normal pool to reinforce an existing concrete boat dock support that needed repairs. Soil was removed from around the base of the support so that it could be reinforced with concrete, so the water level must be kept below the concrete until it has dried. This makes using the main ramps very difficult for the bigger boats because the ramps are very shallow and I watched a number of 16 to 22 foot boat owners struggle to get their boats back on their trailers. If you are headed to Marsh Creek with a bigger boat, the ramp on the Ranger side of the lake is slightly deeper. The dirt ramp to the right of the main ramp on the Lyndell side is still very deep because the shoreline drops off steeply there, however there is only one of those so bring your patience because the line to use it got pretty long.
The concrete repair should be cured this week and normal waters levels restored.
