Has anything seen or heard of these in the area? Me my cousin and uncle were on our way hunting between 930&10a Saturday morning and could have swore we saw 1 nxt to the road just past rainbow school in cvlle. It looked like 1 of those 3D fake dogs to keep geese away. But it moved and those grey eyes were very real.

You sure it wasn't a dog? I know they exist, but I think they're pretty rare.

I've seen them but not in coatesville. I forget where I read it last year but supposedly they're in every county of the state but I'm sure they're rare.

From what I've read they are in every county and come in a variety of color phases.... Sadly I've yet to see a live one in person.

Don't think it was dog. It almost looked like a all black German Shepherd but this thing had no other colors. Just black. And nose wasn't as long as a Shepard. My cousin went right to Google after we drove past it and all agreed definitely black coyote.

This picture was taken on Reeseville rd in Downingtown about a month ago from a customer who is a trapper / wildlife management guy. We don’t know for sure what it is, but coyotes have been reported in this same area

If it was jet black would look more like what we saw. That short nose very distinct tho
