Anyone ever used Epler's Landing upriver from Reading? It looks like a boat launch river trail map. Is it public, and are there any time restrictions as to when you can launch? Any insight would be helpful.

Since the dam was removed there is no ramp as the water level is 10'lower. Last I was over(8yrs) we put my old Radison Transom canoe in. There was tire tracks from the ramp down to the water. It was early spring and the weeds weren't up yet. Considering the PFBC has no money I doubt it's changed.... I can swing by later this week and check it out if your not in a hurry.

If that's the one close to Reading Boat Works, it is very steep. Would not want to launch a trailer boat there. Kayaks ok, although not easy.

Sorry kept forgetting to swing by.... The tire tracks have been replaced by a gravel lane but it is tight. I did not walk down to the water so I did not see the last bit of gravel where it met the water. I would say kayaks, canoes and maybe small jon boats(car toppers)if you feel ambitious ... LOL
