Don't eat those, throw them back to catch another day. People that keep their fish are same that complain there's no fish left in creeks, well stop taking them!

I fish to eat. That being said I always follow Fishing regulations so a creek like manatawny that is full 8-11inch smallmouth all go back. So I leave fish to be caught another day

You "fish to eat"? I expect to hear that from an Alaskan, not someone who fishes the waters of Southeasten Pa! The only freshwater fish I've eaten is trout, and I'm not a big fan of the taste. Maybe I need to expand my palate, and try Walleye or Panfish. I've seen several people on YouTube saying Snakehead fish is better tasting than any other fish. I'm still a little hesitant to try that, but then again I've never caught one of them.

I'm 45yrs old grew up poor. Freshwater fish was a main part of the family diet. Cvlle resivoir, Marsh Creek, icedale lake and struble provided many bluegill, crappie yellow perch, walleye and legal largemouth bass meals. I don't eat largemouth any more don't like the taste. Give me all natural panfish over farm raised trout any day. Trust me you missing a delicious treat of fresh fish especially if you get fall, winter, or spring fish. Definitely taste better than summer. Now that it is summer time for me to hit the bay and ocean to again fish for food. Just so it's known we didn't keep everything we caught for food lots of small fish went back. Like I have stated before 8in bluegill is just big enough to keep
