Fished from 230p til sunset. Very windy so fished near the boulders testing the walleye rumor and hoping for nice yellow perch also. Tried my dbl trout magnet rig under a bobber also. Had some mealworms on me and caught plenty of bluegill kept none. Caught a 13in bass on walleye rig. Right around 415 hooked into something huge on walleye rig it stripped drag a lot . It eventually ran my line across to many rocks and cut my line . I know this cuz when I retied line was very frayed where it broke. Line was cut way above the hook so it wasn't bitten off. So not a musky or pickerel I'm guessing I had a big catfish on.

I would say probably 10 of gills were legal size but personally if they not over 8in I dnt keep them. Not enough meat on a barely legal bluegill to me. Plus I really wanted crappie or perch figured a minnow 12in off the bottom would get those or a rumored walleye

Np man I was out there again last night. I tried the boulders and near the dam. Had my fish finder and and was marking no fish. Seriously I searched from the dam to the cove and marked no fish. My fish finder was working cuz it would mark the minnows at my feet in the rocks. So I ran over to the flats right at 4p caught a 13in bass on my walleye rig and lost something with teeth. Soon as I set the hook felt weight than nothing so definitely toothy fish. Caught a nice yellow perch few small bluegill. Think I found a new crappie spot on my way to the car. Brung home 1 caught 3 small 1s and missed probably 4 more. So if weather is warm I'm back in the evenings but if it's cold enough I'm sitting in a tree deer hunting

Vancleaver not sure we did meet? I can't remember talking to anyone recently that was panfish fishing. I have talked to people bass fishing recently. I'm a light skin black guy 6ft tall on the thin side but not skinny

I think you're right; I talked to a guy that was shore fishing that day. Still appreciate your reports though.

Forecast is telling me hunting tomorrow and Sat. Probably heading up to fish Fri. Lots of times you can fish the cove near the dam even if it's windy. Still have 6 minnows left man a octorara dozen last A long time.

Do you see anyone fishing to the left of the ramp at all these days? I put the boat away for the season but I thought of maybe heading down and throwing the waders on and fishing for a few bass beside the ramp off to the left just a little (along that little stretch of shoreline).

I have seen a gentleman sitting in a chair fishing there a couple times. Looked like he was either fishing a jig under a bobber or minnows. I fish to the right of the ramp in the spring crappie. Never really tried to the left in the spring.

Is the water still low, or back at normal pool?

Still low and still dropping. You can tell it's dropping still from the wet/dry line around the whole shore
