was out for about 2 hrs around 1:30 yesterday. i've only started fishing Chambers late last year, but was shocked to see how low the water level was especially near the Foundation. is this normal for Chambers? it seems to be well lower than it was this time last year. also, the water was still very stained fishing from the shoreline from the boat dock up to the Foundation. only caught one, but it was a 1+ pounder near the end so it sent me home smiling.

They do draw water from Chambers to supplement domestic water supply.

Was out today from 9-1 got 3 bites 0 fish. Water was 61 and stained. Good news was that I had no trouble launching but I did need my boots and a long tether to get it back on the trailer.Much easier than Lyndell.

Yes, last week a long tether and the winch on the trailer were my best friends when launching and loading the boat. Also a pair of shorts and a pair of Crocs help the situation as well, HAHA! I had very few issues launching and loading my boat and the rewards of the lake would be well worth any troubles putting the boat in. My last few trips out the lake was on fire (as recent as late last week). I actually love when they drop the level of the lake down and know that the Bass have not moved far from when the lake is at full pool.
