Fished past several weekends with buddy Frogman and others. The water level is down 2' this past weekend without much negative affect Saturday....Frogman beat me again 6 to 5.....but Sunday in the winds the bite was just gone.
Water is murky greenish and grass/weed lines are healthy. Fish in 6-8 feet water.

Same deal at Marsh Creek. Water levels are down and clarity is very stained and grass mats are increased. Thinking result of high temps and no rain mostly?

No rain, hot days and evaporation = less water
At least the nights are getting longer and cooler, but we definitely need rain very badly. As far as rainfall is concerned, I think we are close to being 3" below normal for the month of august.
