Hey fellas, Tried for catfishing yesterday. Water temp read 86.3 from the dock all the way to the overpass ( give or take a degree) on the other side of the lake. Not one catch. Even tried for bass and panfish, still nothing. Water was brownish green and very stagnant. Just not a good day for fishing I suppose. .

Its been that way as of late it seems. I caught some small bull heads back on the 23rd while bass fishing but thats about it. I take the little girl to do some pan fishing while I fish. All she snagged was two tiny white perch. Hopefully this rain and the temperature cool down will help.

It's seems like a pretty slow fishing season this year with those hot days. Guess the fall should hopefully pick things up. Even tried for salthingyer down Barnegat and even that was slow going.

bassassin,
A work friend and I went out Thursday after work for a few hours of fishing. Figured we would try to catch the evening bite.. We ran the whole west side shoreline across from the launch, all the way down to the cove, back up to the point and east side line. 2 small bass. that's it. Little girl even tried catching some pan fish with artificial bate. Nothing there either. Rough night.
