I went down to the lakes on Sunday, planing to fish the 472 bridge, as there's usually good crappie there and it rarely freezes, due to the current from the tributary. Well, it was frozen. I went over to spruce grove and attempted to fish that bridge, but the water was so choked with weeds and sticks from the melting ice that you couldn't get a line through the water without snagging something.
Maybe after things have settled from this last storm I'll take another run down and see if I can get a bite.

I don't ice fish, so I'm suffering from severe withdraw. And the wants for a new rod. The G.Loomis Trout and Panfish, to replace my St. Croix Premier.
