Hey everyone it's been a while since I have posted but I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and hopefully the fishing has been good to you too. I launched yesterday at about 7:30 and only had about 4 hours to fish. The water temp was about 42 at the beginning and ended at about 45. The day started out pretty slow because I couldn't make them eat the jerkbait. I switched up sizes, colors and pause times and they weren't having any of it. The ticket was when I switched to a pearl fluke and a wacky senko. They wanted the senko basically deadsticked on the bottom and fluke jerked once and then deadsticked on the bottom also. I put 5 in the boat by 11:30 2 of which were pretty decent. One 3-14 and one 4-2, the rest were between 2-2 1/2 pounds. Both of the bigger fish put up nice fights and stripped drag. I did talk to one guy and he said that they caught 28 but they were all 2-2 1/2 pounders. All of the fish seemed to be healthy and none showed any signs of cancer. All in all it was a nice day on the river and it's always nice to figure out what they want. There isn't much time left out there where they are still going to be feeding so if you can get out once more it should still be pretty good. I hope this helps some people out and I'll see you out there.
