Went out fishing today just to see if there was anything left over. By surprise I caught this little fella down by Kerr park!

That's probably true with some but how did the 1 I saw get under that bridge? Also I have never heard of walleye or yellow perch being caught in Kerr park

I'm a bit confused. The news article mentions the Christiana River ("he goes fishing all the time, but only gets out to that part of the Brandywine – about half a mile north of where it meets the Christiana River"). Did they mean the Christina River? If so, the article is talking about Delaware, nowhere near where you guys are talking. Kerr Park is in Downingtown and the "trestle bridge" on 322 is a bit below D-town. So where was this sweet little tiger caught? Not doubting your word, just trying to figure out where.

The article what I understood is they tracked the fish back to Marsh Creek from like dna and stuff. I caught the little tiger muskie at the Kerr Park playground area and the big one was caught down by the "trestle bridge" Hope that makes sense.

Its hard the believe the state record was 15.2 pounds- now 16.4 pounds. I have seen a lot bigger tigers in PA waters. Looking at the pictures in the article seems to be only about a 39-42 inch fish. Not downing the catch at all... it is definitely a nice tiger.

Unless I'm misreading the article, the "state" record they're referring to is DE, which I could understand. And the "trestle bridge on 322" is PA, just below D-town...and I don't think anyone is going to get a Ranger boat in that area.
On the other hand, catching that little tiger in Kerr Park is very believable - congrats!!! What did you use and what kind of gear? Looks like a rapala on a fly rod???
