Hit the lake early with buddy Bob I got one quickly off the rip-rap near the launch. He got really nice 3# 3 oz one a few hours later on spinner bait near shore.. We got chased by Thunder.....but lake is warm -- close to 80 and muddy/green. Slight smell So many spot to hit.....others seemed to be doing ok....slow for us.... Be careful -- really need to cast precisely or you will catch a tree etc.

Went out Sat.morning. Sunny, no breeze, water temp was 80. Worked hard off the rip rap and around both sides. Couldn't buy a bite. Caught a catfish and a crappie on a senko. Others were reporting the same lack of action. Sunday was a tournament and would like to hear any results. Don't know that lake very well and was struggling to find weeds to fish.

I know BowlerX went down there on Saturday AM as well and couldn't buy a bite with anything; sounds like it was a very tough day for all on that lake. I haven't been there in about 4 years but I do remember it was a 90+ degree day and I caught all of my Bass on a deep diving crankbait along the rip-rap right at the launch. It's such an awesome looking lake but it seems like its been very tough down there this year. is it typically crowded on a Saturday morning? Also wondering if ANYONE has ever caught anything down the left side on thta rock hum out in front of the rock wall? It looks like a very fishy area; but I have never caught anything off the hump.
