We finally have the forecast we have been longing for, this is what we need to get MC frozen over. I have packed and repacked my sled, put new line on my reels, charged my Show Down battery and stocked up on handwarmers. I am sooo ready!

I highly doubt that Marsh Creek or Struble will be safe to fish this weekend. This is a good start and hopefully the lakes will get a nice cap on them then the ice can grow!! Time to go through the gear and maybe add a few things to the jet sled.

Did a drive by at Marsh Creek today, there is ice at the bridge on Little Conastoga Rd. all the way up but not quite to the end of Chalfont Rd. The main lake is still alot of open water. There is also ice forming in Park Cove. Not sure about Carpenter's Cove. FYI: Chalfont Rd. gate is closed. It's going to be awhile yet before we can drill some holes.

Next week a couple of days in the high 30's but in the low 20's at night. If this holds true then maybe some ice fishing next weekend?? Will have to check Struble out as it seems to freeze first.

About 1-3 inches on my local ponds. Real close... Probably safe but I'll give it a day or two.

I was on the main lake this past Saturday fishing near the dam. I think I saw some ice starting to form in Carpenters but did not go in for a closer look.
