Saw about 8 guys at the Coatesville res on my way home from Struble. Some at the dam area and the rest in the cove about 200 yards from the dam. The upper part near the CCC was open thanks to the hundreds of geese there.

Headed to Onalonnie tomorrow. I was there a few days ago and didn't find the mother load but did find 2 yellow perch over 14". Lots of small white perch too.

Decided on a change of scenery today and took a ride to bucks county to fish Levittown lake. I fished it a couple days ago and got into some better perch then I've found so far at struble. Fished from 7 until 1 today. There was no morning bite and the wind was pretty rough. Lots of sniffers but not many bites. I've never seen fish streak to the bottom away from my jig faster then they did today. Still managed a handful of pretty good perch. All keeper size. Lots of fish marked but it just wasn't the day to get em I guess. May try Deep Creek lake tomorrow.

Went to maunch chunk lake today from 9-3. Didn't catch a ton but got pickerel, perch and even a nice bass. Perch was a beast of a fish.

Fished the Dead Sea (Coatesville res.) the other night for about 2 1/2 hrs. Lots of very small fish, only one keeper crappie. Don't get it about this lake, just 3 years ago I did well with mostly big gills also adding a few crappies to the bucket. Wnehever I go past there now I never see anyone fishing. Now I know why and will stick with Struble.

The rez used to be really good. Over population?
