Has there been any updates to this story? Must have shook up the fisherman who discovered her alright.

I'd like to know if she was wearing clothes, running clothes, etc. I would want to know if she was attacked around the lake or what. Hopefully we don't find that something like that happened. Then people using the park need to watch their back on those trails etc. Shame.

The article I read said foul play was not suspected. Not a lot of details though.

That's what I was wondering also cdfish... I typically show up to launch at off hours and many times I have the place to myself. I'd like to know if she was attacked there or whatever.. damn shame though

Gotta be more to this one. Does anyone know of any areas where you can have an "accident" and find your way into the water easily that a fisherman finds you?

I realize that there are a lot of possible causes. I wonder how she ended up in the water? I don't know much about the trails around that lake. But are any of them super close to the shore where she could possibly slip and fall right into the water (assuming that she also hit her head or a rock or whatever on the way down)?

I am glad they don't think foul play was involved. She could have had a heart attack while exercising and fell into the water. Hopefully they let us all know what happened.

I've been on the trails around 90% of the lake of so. I find it extremely hard pressed for anybody jogging to just take a spill and end up in the water. There's maybe 3-4 stretches of trail that are even remotely close enough to the water, but most it would take a heart attack and then quite a tumble and pinball effect to make it down through all the trees and what not. This story seems a bit fishy (pun intended).

Here's my take. When I got on the water that morning, from the boat launch at the rental docks, I went left towards the dam. I saw the boat and LEOs at the bank of the lake where the trail takes a sharp turn up and it's the first cove going left. Since the body was found later in the evening and in the water, My guess would be that the woman was jogging or walking back to the parking lot around dusk. seeing as the trails are dark at that time and she probably did not realize the sharp drop at that turn or some of the other drop offs, either tripped or slid down the bank and into the water. From that point she either struck her head or perhaps she could not swim and there are some sharp drop offs under the water. Being that it was later in the evening there may not have been anyone else around to see or hear her splash and subsequently drowned. Of course I'm no CSI, so just my thoughts.
