Took a ride to Struble this morning. Maybe 1/2-1" ice that seems to be over the whole lake. Coatesville res., the same but not all the way across. Didn't get to Marsh Creek to check it out. If the cold weather keeps up than maybe another week??? Can we be lucky this year? After last two years we certainly deserve the Christmas present of fishing before the new year.

Late this morning there were 3 fellows on the ice, one guy walked from parking lot to dam across the middle. Would have to guess by looking at them cutting holes at most 3-4 inches. click on photo to enlarge Attachments:

I was up there in the am and no one on the ice. I was tempted, but... How thick is the ice there? I wanted to go out a day this week. Looks like the weekend will melt some of the ice. Temps one day in the high 50"s
