teb67gt, your first post was actually a good point, your opinion is welcome and is worth just as much as everybody else's. I'm sorry if I took your last couple posts the wrong way. Being that we live in PA, like TomM said we have a limited amount of time to hold tournaments, some people don't like to fish the early TXs because of the weather, it can still get pretty cold and nasty, in the fall they don't seem to draw as well for what ever reasons, hunting on Saturday, don't know about Sundays, you can't hold a TX on the first day of bass season so that only leaves 1 Saturday and two Sundays in June, all of July and August and maybe Sept. to hold TXs. The local bass clubs hold they're TXs when they are going to draw the most boats and that's in the summer and that probably goes for everybody in the northern states. Please don't take any of this the wrong way, we all have our own opinions on how things should be done. I hope you will continue to post on the board and good fishing to everybody who uses this forum.

No problems here, I am sorry if I gave the wrong impression. Like I said, I certainly have nothing againts tournaments, and know that the clubs do much to benefit the waters that they hold them on. As far as MC is concerned, I agree that the fishing has been as good as always. Personally, I have had better luck this year with a variety of species there, especially walleyes.
My concern isn't with what is happening right now, but for the future. Two of my favorite local fishing holes, Springton and WC res. are no longer accessable. I know that this cannot happen with MC, but the lack of good quality waters in this area - especially now - has me concerned with the future. If MC starts to decline in fish quality (again, not that it is or anything going on currently is creating a problem ) then we all will lose. Basically what I want to say is that just because things are fine now, we do not have the luxury of being complacent. Significant increases in pressure, as well as other factors, need to be kept in check to maintain the quality fishery that exists today.

That's cool, no problems here either and I do understand your concerns.
