Was fishing down by the bride from 9:30am - 12:00pm. I guy in a canoe landed a big tiger musky about 80 yard off shore. The thing pulled him around. He brought it to shore, but didn't measure it. It was real fat, couldn't really even guess how long it was. He didn't throw it back, he gave it to someone on the bank who wanted it. Too bad. Real Nice Fish
Oh yeah he caught it on topwater around the weedbeds

It's bad enough that he didn't put it back, but giving it to someone who didn't even catch it? I'm sorry, but you don't deserve a fish like that if you can't appreciate it.

I truly don't understand why someone would keep such a fish, it is not like they are even good eating. Giving it away to someone who will probably tell everyone that they caught it is even worse, but it is sad to see such a fish go. I'm glad I wasn't there to witness that.

Actualy, I wish I had been there - I would have at least tried to get them to put it back.

I tried talking the guy into putting it back, but he wouldn't. He wanted pictures and the guy who took it said he would send him some. So maybe everyone will get to see it.

That is a shame. I caught three Tigers two weekends ago in MC, all 35" + and threw all of them back after a few quick pictures. CPR = Catch+Picture+Release. Well pics of two..the third one i didn't get pics of because it swam away with my hook in its mouth and the other hook in my partners hand...I have the hospital bill for proof ;D but thats a long story... Well my point is we need to release some of these bigger fish so they can reproduce (well at least the bass) and let other anglers enjoy catching them Here are the pics of the two Here is one Here is two...

SebBass, those are some nice fish! I think my record Tiger from MC is about 9 inches... glad to see you threw them back.

Did anyone ever see the pictures or get a measurment if anyone has info about the guy who took it I wonder if he still has it ? Post it up if you have info my name is Tom and I muskie fish this story really upset me. The key to a great fishery is releasing fish look what it has done for the bass population. I have caught some nice Tigers and Bass in the lake and its only gets better if we make it happen. Tom
