lately on the nicer days, I've been out Chuck hunting a handful of times. Seen 5 , shot 0. I will say that it sure is nice that after about a hundred years, you don't have to display your license on your back anymore. No more holes on every jacket in my closet.
Now if the PAFBC will just pull their head out and follow suit.....

I never understood the reason for displaying it. Whenever they are around they make you take it out anyway...

Sucks they put a stop to displaying hunting licenses. Nothing like making someones job even tougher...especially when firearms and other weapons are involved. Plan on getting checked every time you see a warden.
Hopefully the PAFBC keep it as is when it comes to displaying licenses. I could see it now on the opening day of trout season. Start time rolls around, WCO gets out of his/her vehicle, "everyone not displaying their license, line up on the road and have your license in hand to be checked.....that goes for all of you across the stream too."

I believe that the fishing license rule would still give you a choice as to wear it or keep it in your pocket. If you chose to keep it in your pocket and get pulled away to be checked, well, what can I say. I like choices.

Not sure where you hunt... I have always obeyed the law and yet I have been checked every time I have seen a warden. They make us take everything out. Had one check us with a huge storm blowing in. Wouldnt let us wait it out in the car even though we had 2 12 year old kids with us. Turned out to be the storm where a tornado blew the doors off of the covantry mall a few miles away. He checked every shred of paper we had and my migratory bird stamp blew off into the woods. The guy snickered and said oops. Thought he was going to pop a vein trying to force a third round in my buddy's magazine. All this while we are out next to our cars in an all out lightning storm. I am all about respecting officials, and dont mind being checked normally but I am not going to be sad that I can reach into my wallet rather than around my back for the whim of an officer. If a simple back check would have worked wouldn't mind wearing it there. But really glad it will be easier for me to reach for their check. Make their job harder.... sorry. Doubt it would work with fishing because of boats. Can glass from shore easy if it displayed.
