There seems to be an influx of muskys in the east branch of Brandywine Creek. Members of the Brandywine Trout Club, have reported numerous sightings of muskys in in many sections , up and down stream from the outlet of Marsh Creek. We've heard in the past, of a musky or two in the pool by the steel brigde near the old mill, but not any where near this amount. The following is an e-mail from the president of the club, refering to the sightings, and reported by the members:
Rich,
Saturday after we stocked 2 Muskie's went up Beaver Creek past me above the bridge at 322. They appeared to be the smaller(30") ones

Rich,
We would like to report five to eight Muskie's ranging in size from 25 inches upwards of 50 inches from the spillway coming from marsh creek to the black bridge above the paper mill.

Cave-in above Marsh Creek Inn, seen one there about 25"
Harple's the upper (way up) hole, one about 25"

Rich,
Just wanted to let you know a Muskie was actually caught under the Devereux bridge on the second day of trout season Mona trout magnet. I saw it in the morning and then came back later in the day and two different people said it was caught on a trout magnet
