Im going to marsh on friday for perch does anyone know if they are hitting i know they spawn in 45 degree water so hopefully i can catch (and release) some. They are challenging to catch with live bait they seem to suck it off real fast so they are always fun. Regards, Jeff

Yea Jeff they are starting to bite, I caught about a dozen of the big jumbo perch on Monday. And another half dozen today. Also caught some crappies and all the big bluegills ya want.

where did catch all these big perch and crappie at? i was by the bridge and did not catch one crappie

I was also at the bridge out in the boat. On the south side of the bridge caught half the perch there. And the rest about as far toward the main lake as you can see from the bridge.

Just remember the fish wont move far if they arn't at the bridge they are just out in deeper water just out from the bridge.
