was out fishing this morning for crappie at the bridge and didnt have a hit. A another guy and I fish for two hours without having any luck. The cold front the past two weeks has killed the crappie fishing. Hopefully by next week a few will have moved in by then.

The crappie action seemed to have picked up at the bridge today. A fellow reported that he a great day catching lots of blue gills and crappies. We also finally had the first fish weighed in to our tournament today. It was 14 3/4" and weighed 1.44 lbs. Thats a nice start with more to come I'm sure. If your not signed up there's still time to do so and get in on the action. Good luck !

I've managed to put about 4 dozen crappies in the freezer so far. Most of them were around 10-11". I got one almost 13" & another one 12". I weighted the bigger one in at Gordon's which is currently 2nd. place. ( I know that won't stay there long.)Bigger ones are coming!

Lots of action by the bridge today. Must have been 10 cars parked there today. I fished the chalfant road section. Saw some gills and minnows moving around. Did land any but its good to see the fish starting to move again.
