I think alot of places will be good to go by tomorow. Rode by the C-ville res. Some one was out on it fishing at some time. Didnt see a truck or broken ice where the holes were so I guess he didnt fall in. Edges were a little thin but it seemed safe a ways out there. Didnt have my auger to check the thickness. The geese and wind are keeping a big section open down by yhe dam.
Anyone know about how Marsh Creek is down at the park or ranger station?

Haven't been at the park in awhile, but I work right in Exton, and I will drive into the park tomorrow after I'm done and I will update this thread tomorrow night. I am thinking bout trying it out this weekend myself.

Main part of marsh was wide open this afternoon. I was surprised but it was very windy.

I'll check struble tomorrow. I'll bring my shotgun and rod. One or the other will work out.

Still windy and wide open at 3 this afternoon. Upper 1/3 of Park Cove was frozen but it didn't look too solid. I was surprised that there wasn't even any ice ringing the shoreline. The only ice was on the docks and ramp where the water had splashed up and then frozen. Guess I'll be waiting for at least another week. maybe after the outdoor show in Maryland on Saturday.

Thanks Arazona. I was on the C-ville res today for only about an hour. No fish, two bites though.

Heading to c-ville reservoir in the am as soon as I'm done work at 7. Trying the area where jigger was fishing yesterday as long as the ice permits and will post results.

Fished the c-ville reservoir from 8-10am. Only managed a small perch and three other bites. Saw a fellow there starting to catch some medium size bluegills but I had to get out of there. Will try either there or Marsh Creek tomorrow. Hoping for a better day. Good luck to all this W/E.

Think I will give Marsh a shot tomorrow. Any one know what road they are using to get to the ice there.

You probably will need to park at the cul-de-sac in the Bordeaux Estates developement.

Went to struble for a few hours. Not even a nibble. 5 inches of ice or more.

Struble is like that. I have crushed them one day and couldnt get a bite the next in the same spot, go figure.

Went to Marsh sat. am and only managed 4 gills, a perch and a crappie. Lots of small stuff. Went to the c-ville reservoir yesterday am for about 3 hrs. Caught many small perch and crappies. Did manage to get 7 half decent crappies but they required some work. Ice there 5-6 inches and was fishing towards the dam.
