I was wondering if somebody could suggest a good channel cat fishing spot. Of course I don't want a specific location but a general area would be appreciated. I live in West Brandywine and I have a couple of family members that want to come up and do some catfishing. Thanks for your replies.

The Delaware River is loaded with big cats. Use blood worms or night crawlers. Chicken livers work great but unless you wrap them in pieces paintyhose the moving water will make it hard to keep the bait on the hook. Just cut out a square piece of the paintyhose put the liver in the center and tie it up.

This time of year try the warm water discharge on the susquehanna. Below the York Haven dam. Chicken Livers are your best bet.

Met some guys last week fishing the Schulkyll near Phoenixville with chicken livers. Said they were after blue cats. I didn't know there were blues in the river there, but these guys seemed sure of it.

Schulkyll river off of I-76 at flatrock dam, fished there last year and caught quite a few descent cats below the damn on minnows. A lot of small, smallmouth as well. im sure if we were after just cats we could have done a lot better its loaded.
