Took the flintlock for a walk today. Went to Cauffman Hill near Nockamixon. Saw a herd of 12-15 deer running thru a field about 75 yards away. Didn't take the shot on running deer that far away. Three bucks were in the mix. One of them was pretty good size. At least six points, didn't get a good count though. Are they herding because of the rain tonight or is this normal for this time of year?
