it was nice and brisk out this morning, starting to feel like fall! First dove seasons up and I didn't do as good as hoped. Kinda gave up half way through the month though got into other things, looking forward to woodc0ck though in mid Oct.

yeah I only got out for dove a few times. Only did real good one time. Just too hot out for me and probably the doves. Do you hunt woodthingy on state game lands? I have only shot one and it was at french creek while doing some awful over crowded pheasant hunting.

Been seeing some big flocks coming over my house the last couple days. Could hear them honking and after looking around trying to figure out where the heck it was coming from, wayyyy wayyy up there I could see some big V's going overhead. Hopefully in this next week or so it will finally get cooler out and bring them down!

I work in exton, so im coming down 100 from Bucktown everyday, action has really been picking up, 100 seems like a pretty major flyway i guess moving from the Schuk, Struble, and Marsh Creek, really been seeing alot of geese though. I think that cold front that moved through last week really brought some stuff down from up north, hopefully they will stick around for another month. my buddies and i just got permission right off of 401 near 100 for a pit blind, not to far from marsh creek, looks like a hell of a spot, saw 4-500 geese in the field yesterday feeding on timothy, and some corn cut for silage.

Yeah I live in exton. I get taunted by flocks everyday. Sounds like a good spot. I have asked permission everywhere over the past few years and always get denied. Don't have one field to hunt. Hunting is not too popular around here these days.

yeah thats a bad area for hunting, but there are so many animals around, i know the Church Farm school there on 30 packed with geese eveyday not to mention a few nice bucks, and from what ive heard people see coyotes on a regular basis, but yeah permission is next to impossible to get, only reason we got it was because my one buddy works on the farm
