Thanks for all that info. That second link was real helpful with the diagrams. Next I have to learn to clean one should I be lucky enough to take one down. I was relying on my brother the chef to help me out but he is out of the country for the next month and a half. I am getting pumped for next weekend. Even if I don't get a bird it is going to be a lot of fun to get out with my buddie(who is also new to this) Two years ago I new nothing about fishing and I got pretty good at that by asking a lot of questions. So thanks again for the help

no problem. I'm not working cause of the rain so I'm bored. All this goose talk is getting me excited. To clean them I usually just rip out a line of feathers down the breasts so I can get to the skin. Then I pull the skin back with the help of a knife till the breast completely exposed. Then slice it off the bone. It dries out real easy when you cook it so I usually cut it into smaller pieces lay a piece of jalapeno pepper on it maybe some onion and wrap it in bacon. Few minutes on the grill and its time to eat. I personally think ducks are much better. Mallards and wood ducks are great. Hope you get some.
